Events will take place at on Fridays at 10:30 AM at the Oley Valley Community Library.

 

Friday, June 7th – Berks County Conservation District

Topic: Our Environment
All aboard! Adventure awaits! Join Jennifer Brooks from the Berks Conservation District as we climb aboard the S.W.A.G Bus! Soil, Water, and Agriculture hands-on activities are awaiting your discover. Examine soil samples, piece together a GIANT watershed puzzle, discover critters that live in our local waterways, manipulate an Augmented Reality Sandbox and MORE all while learning about conservation practices that can protect our environment.

Friday, June 14th – David Darwin from America's Got Talent

David presents a circus of juggling, unicycling, and audience participation. His talents will delight people of all ages.

Description: Daniel realizes his special talents when he performs at the school. He learns "we are all good at something."

 

Friday, June 21st – Yoga with Karen

Experience the benefits of yoga for all ages. Yoga helps to strengthen your body and increase your flexibility for better movement. Enjoy a fun time with your whole family. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

Friday, June 28th – Circus Day

Have hands-on experience in learning how to juggle, feather balance, and more. You will see a demonstration of circus skills and get the opportunity to try the skills yourself.

Friday, July 5th – Talewise

Science Heroes: Interactive stories and exciting, hands-on science experiments.

Friday. July 12th – Ridiculous Nicholas

Nicholas offers a joke-packed, interactive family comedy show that includes some of the most RIDICULOUS stunts and tricks you've ever witnessed!

Friday, July 19th – Yocum Institute

The Yocum Institute is Berks County's leader in community arts education. Enjoy a theater experience right at the library.

Description: Follow along as Ellie lands the lead role in her elementary school play.

 

Friday, July 26th – STEM Day

Come to the library between 10:30-11:15 to be creative using various STEM supplies. You will have the opportunity to create a variety of projects! You may take home your STEM kit or work on your STEM kit at the library in Weidner Hall.

First come, first serve.
